Woman Found in Home With Bodies of 4 Kids Faces Murder Charges:
Reason to Blow Up the World...
WASHINGTON — A woman found in her home with the decomposing bodies of four girls faces murder charges, and authorities believe she is their mother, officials said Thursday.
Banita Jacks, 33, was expected to appear Thursday in D.C. Superior Court, where the charges will be formally presented, prosecutors said.
The bodies of the girls — ages 5, 6, 11 and 17 — were found Wednesday when deputy U.S. marshals served an eviction notice at the apartment. Medical examiner Dr. Marie Pierre-Louis said the bodies were likely there more than 15 days, "based on the insects that were found there."
Jacks, who faces four counts of murder, could receive a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.
How the girls died remained under investigation, but Pierre-Louis said it appeared the oldest child might have been stabbed in the abdomen. The other three children might have been poisoned or asphyxiated, she said. The medical examiner's office was trying to identify the girls using dental records or DNA.
None of the children thought to be living in the home was enrolled in the school system, said D.C. schools spokeswoman Mafara Hobson. One child at that address had attended Stuart-Hobson Elementary School but withdrew in 2006 as a fifth-grader, she said.
Larry Jones, who lives next door, said a woman and two or three children lived at the home but he had not seen them since the summer. He said the children appeared healthy at the time.
Jones added that in recent months he has noticed a "strange odor" coming through his vent. "We thought it was probably dead mice in the vent or something," he said.
There's too many crazy people out there. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out that she had some kind of mental defect and was supposed to be on meds.

FBO says kids were possessed by demons.
I believe though that the officials all dropped the ball. The fact that now they want to placate us with press conferences with constant promises of people being held accountable Irks me to no end. Knowing the system and how hard it is in this area to get a shelter bed even when you have kids I wonder How they plan to fire a social worker when her hands are tied by too little money in the budget or not enough shelter beds??
Oh do not get me wrong they will fire someone to help take them look good and make them look like they are caring and making changes. Frankly I rather they left them work gave retraining and hired a few more to take the load off those that are trying to do all the work with case overload.
Not to mention last I heard and it may well be lifted now but there was a hiring freeze meaning too few workers and too many cases to follow up on. Do not get me wrong I am Not saying that the workers did not drop the ball when they could not get a answer again and again they could have talked to neighbors or even the landlord Especially after finding that the family had not went back to MD as first believed. Their answer was to close the case and walk away. They claim they will fix that part but I will bet that will last a month or so and all will return to normal Have you any clue how many people jump back and forth across that Maryland line collecting benefits. No wonder they are broke.
They now figure they will fire what workers they do have Not be able to add more due to the hire freeze and that will some how fix something??
Please The government in DC is a MESS period. They have no money to fix these issues, and anyone with half a brain who listened to those press conferences knows that.
This issue just ticks me off this is NOT the first time that kids in homes who have been reported to CPS have fell through the cracks and we always get the same lies. Sadly maybe it took 4 to die to really light the fire but sadly I doubt that.
