Now thousands of Dutch people are preparing for the Apocalypse that was allegedly foretold by the Mayan calendar that says the world will end by 2012. They're preparing for Armageddon in a very Y2K like fashion.

Personally, I predict the world will end in 2734 when the simple message sent from earth "DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CLEAN AIR LEFT TO BREATH THAT THEY CAN LOAN US?" is misinterpreted by a warlike race many light years away as, "YOUR MAMMA WEARS GLOVKNICK FOOTWEAR AND PERFORMS FINKLESNICK FOR 3.678 PLETARS A THROW!" "Glovknick footwear" and performing "Finklesnick" will apparantly be a major insult to them....so it is written...so it shall be....
