Matricide suspect has April court date:
We don't follow a whole lot of stories here at News of Doom. That's not what we're about. We usually post about an initial crime with our brief opinion and move on. However once in a while a story will produce enough feedback and enough traffic that it's worth following. One of these stories is the case of Esmie Tseng. She's a 16-year-old girl from Kansas that was arrested for stabbing her mother, 55-year-old Shu Yi Zhang, to death. The story has created a firestorm of support for Ms. Tseng. You can get more of the story in our archives.
The big debate is whether or not Esmie Tseng should be tried as an adult or not. According to the article that will all come to a head in April when arguments start on April 3rd to see if she will be tried as an adult or not.

Take a look at these two pictures of her....

She has, at least on 2 occasions, obviously fantasized about stabbing her mother, only to actually end up in fact doing so.. That, to me, is a clear sign of premeditation....
No fucking mercy.
"Oh, she has such a bright future," "She must be so tortured because she lost her mother." Poor diddums. Fucking spare me. She should've thought of that before stabbing her mother repeatedly.
she did it--stabbing her own mother--repeatedly and
cold-bloodedly. any parent should "be proud of" such a child?
not me!!
it's tragic outcome of cultural clash plus drug effect and
unemployment on the parent.
you could blame on the social factors but still individuals
need to take responsibility.
