Mother, boyfriend, charged with aggravated child abuse:
Reason to Blow Up the World...

Flea bites behind his ears and gangrene along the bottom of his feet appeared to be only the minor injuries of a 7-year-old boy in Ozark who was unable to walk because of vicious abuse, Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson said.

The boy had seven broken ribs, in addition to two severe burn marks on his feet, two chipped teeth, and bruises on his arms, legs, back and sides. Inside of his mouth was an infected sore.

On Thursday, Skipperville residents June Vicki Henry and Eddie Ledbetter, the child’s mother and her boyfriend, both 24 years old, were charged with aggravated child abuse after Dale County investigators and members of the Wiregrass Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at D. Thomas Road in Ozark.

2008 really is turning out to be the year of child abuse here at News of Doom and it seems these assclowns just took the lead.

Police: Dad Threw 4 Children Off Bridge:

A day after reporting his four young children were missing, a shrimp fisherman broke down and confessed that he threw them off an 80-foot-high bridge to their deaths, authorities said Wednesday.

Lam Luong, 37, was charged with four counts of capital murder, and divers searched the murky waters for the bodies of the youngsters, who ranged in age from a few months to 3 years.

Luong had a drug habit and had argued with his wife, Ngoc Phan, before taking the children, said Phan's brother-in-law, Kam Phengsisomboun.

Luong's girlfriend, who was living in a hotel in nearby Gulfport, Miss., figured into the couple's argument on Sunday and then on Monday morning, family members and police said.

Authorities said they believe Luong then drove Monday to the two-lane Dauphin Island bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway, stopped at the highest part of the span and threw the youngsters over the side.

Missing and presumed dead were 4-month-old Danny Luong; 1-year-old Lindsey Luong; 2-year-old Hannah Luong; and 3-year-old Ryan Phan. Phan is not the man's biological child, but Luong raised him from infancy, authorities said.

For those of you wondering DSD stands for defective sperm donor. It's the male equivalent to the FBO.

I'm really at a loss for words on this one. I would suggest that 'they' should drown him in a burlap sack like a bag of kittens but that just doesn't seem enough.

Reason to Blow Up The World: Not just for the fact that someone stabbed a 3 and 9 year old to death but did it while the mother was home. There's no reason for this.

Reason to Blow Up The World: Not only the fact of what this scumbag did but also for the fact that according to him what he did didn't cause the victims any pain. I hope your cellmate causes you a greater amount of "not pain". (log in info)

Boy, 7, shot outside school:
Reason to Blow Up The World: Not only for the boy being shot but also for the stepfather, who was the intended target for taking off and leaving his stepson to almost bleed to death. As someone who is a stepfather I would never abandon either of my stepkids like that. You make me physically sick and I hope the police find you. Please resist arrest when they do. Brother, sister arrested on incest charge at Trafford trailer:
Reason to Blow Up the World: I don't care if you were given 5 minutes to live. When your own sister starts looking good to you it's time to remove yourself from the human race. By the way did you all notice the word "trailer" in the headline? I do have to note that even though the "people" in question are from Georgia the point is awarded to the state in which the Act of Doom took place.

Kindergartners Accused of Having Sex at School:
Reason to Blow Up the World: Do I have to spell it out for you? Read the headline again. KINDERGARTNERS HAVING SEX!!! I realize they probably had no idea what they were doing and saw something they shouldn't have at home and imitated it but it's just so disturbing to read this...

We are told the two six-year-old boys in question, were performing oral sex on each other, in the restroom.

What makes it even more Doomworthy is that the school totally went apeshit over the situation and offered counseling to the kids involved and now kids can't go to the bathroom without supervision. They're kindergartners for crying out loud. You tell what they did was wrong and let it go at that.

Reason to Blow Up the World: The fact that a mother could torture and kill her own 4-year-old daughter. Not only that but the fact that she uses a curling iron to burn most of her body and allow the wounds to become septic. Luckily Alabama is like the way Texas used to be with punishing it's criminals.

Reason to Blow Up the World: The fact that not only a father would rape his own daughter but that the mother knew and did nothing about it.I thought it was odd to be getting a story out of New Mexico then I looked at a map and saw that Las Cruces is right on the border with Texas. These people need to pay severely for taking away this girl's childhood. I hope they get theirs in prison.

Reason to Blow Up the World: The fact that some tweaker killed a 10 year old girl to keep his meth lab secret. Hopefully this guy will get "tweaked" in prison.

Couple Accused of Torturing Kids Caught:
Reason to Blow Up the World: The fact that these people adopted seven children only to torture five of them. These people are the lowest of the low giving all adoptive parents a bad name. It's unfortunate that these people can't be sentenced to death.

Alabama

Police: Girl died after mother forced her to drink bleach:
Reason to Blow Up the World: Not only did this poor excuse for a mother kill her own daughter by making her drink bleach then sitting on her but she forced her 9-year-old son watch. The only consolation here is that the mother is facing a possible death sentence. The good thing about Alabama is that they don't mess around with the death penalty. If she gets death she's going to die.
