Parents Charged Parents With Murder In Infant Girl's Death:

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- The parents of a three-day-old girl who died early Sunday have been charged with her murder.

Police in Columbus, Ga., arrested Albert Debelbot, 24, and his 23-year-old wife, Ashley, on Monday afternoon. The couple were taken into custody after doctors determined the baby died from blunt-force injuries.

Authorities said McKenzy Debelbot was born Thursday.

I still don't understand why a couple would go through 9 months of carrying a child only to allegedly violently kill the baby within a week of it's birth.

One point for each for the murder which is two, another point for the beating, and one last point for killing a baby that was less than a week old. That's four.

Savannah Mother Accused of Murder Held Without Bond:

Police say 21-year-old Virkisha Warren drowned her three month old son - and put him in a trash bag. Warren went before a judge today in Chatham County - showing no emotion as she was read her rights. Warren is being held without bond. She'll be in court again later this month.

Brandon Warren was in this world just three months.
His last day here now haunts his Great Aunt:
"I was in my house cleaning up and he (Brandon's father) came in crying. I'm like, 'What's wrong with you Brandon?' and he's like, 'My baby out there in the bag dead.' I said 'What are you talking about?' He said, 'She done killed my baby,'" recalls Thompkins.

The infant's mom - Virkisha Warren - telling police she woke up Thursday and he wasn't breathing. "She did not have a cell phone at her house. She transported her and her child to her baby's daddy's house. On her way to the father's house she saw him on a road... She stopped and picked him up," says Savannah-Chatham Police Detective Karen Ryan.

In her lap - police say - a trash bag.

"He asked what was in the bag. She told him some clothes - he knew it was not clothes. When he looked and reached for the bag, he realized it was his son," explains Ryan.

When you have post partum depression is it not possible to bring yourself back from the edge? Can you not recognize at that point that having thoughts about killing your own baby is wrong?

One point for the drowning, another point for putting the baby in a trashbag, one more point for trying to hide the crime, and one last point for the article actually using the phrase baby's daddy. That's four.

Police: Dad Shot, Killed Baby Strapped In Car Seat:

DECATUR, Ga. -- DeKalb County police are investigating a double shooting in which a father appears to have shot and killed his 1-year-old daughter and then killed himself.

DeKalb County police officer Marcus Hodge says Mario Roberts, 21, was arguing with his child's mother in the couple's car when he pulled out a gun and shot their daughter, Amari Roberts. It appears the father then shot himself, Hodge said.

Officials said they were visiting the child's maternal grandmother's home to celebrate Easter. "They were over here visiting them and they were in the driveway when this occurred," said Hodge.

Police say the father and child were rushed to separate hospitals. The girl was later pronounced dead.

The father was also pronounced dead early Monday morning.

Happy freakin' Easter you coward.

One point for shooting your defenseless one year old daughter, another point for taking the coward's way out, another point for doing this on Easter, and one more point for not being man enough to resolve your problems without killing. That's four.

DAWSONVILLE, Ga. -- An autopsy has revealed that slain hiker Meredith Emerson died from blunt force trauma to the head before being decapitated.

Officials also said that Emerson was killed on Jan. 4, three days after the first report of her disappearance. No comments were made as to what happened during that time.

At a press conference at 3 p.m., Dawson County officials said Gary Michael Hilton, 61, has been charged with murder. He is being held at the Dawson County Jail.

What 'They' should do: A severe beating followed up by a slow rusty guillotine.

Ga. Teacher Denies Molesting Students:
This is a follow up about Georgia teacher Georgianne Harrell who is not only accused of molesting some of her students, some as young as 9, but she also slashed her wrist with a piece of glass in front of 21 kids. Let me also refresh your memory of some of the other charges against her...

Authorities also say she performed oral sex on a 9-year-old boy in her classroom, let students peek down her blouse and talked to some of the children about sexual matters.

Um...yeah. Ok. Where do schools find all these freaks? Are they sick when they go in or does the profession make them sick?

Anyway she's pleaded not guilty. According to the article if she's convicted she could possibly be looking at a sentence hundreds of years long. You read that right, hundreds.

A janitor at a women's clinic who purportedly ran a modeling agency was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting three teenage girls, including a 14-year-old allegedly raped while he claimed to be giving her an abortion.

Michael Britt told the 14-year-old, who feared she was pregnant, that he could perform an abortion using a cream, and sexually assaulted her under the guise of applying it, police said in court affidavits.

Hopefully this scumbag will be modelling in prison for his cellmates.

Reason to Blow Up The World: The fact that some survivalist nut who worships Eric Rudolph wanted to escape his debt by getting sent to federal prison shoots am innocent postal worker. William Crutchfield shot postal worker Earl Lazenby seven times...

Lazenby was shot seven times, once in the arm and six times in the abdomen. A neighbor heard shots, came outside and called 911 as the 52-year-old grandfather lay in the grass of a nearby lawn thinking he might die.

When Lazenby came out of surgery hours later, he learned that he had suffered extensive damage — 29 holes in his colon and intestines, shattered bones in his arm. He would live, but he would never be able to digest food or produce insulin by himself.

All so this selfish bastard could be free of his debt. Once he's in federal prison debt will be the least of his problems.

We also have an Update of Doom to the 2/8/05 News of Doom II about the Idaho woman who scalped a 16 year old girl because she was “acting in a way that the adult perceived as being offensive to women as a gender”. Well the perpetrator, Marianne Dahle, 26, pleaded guilty, blaming the attack on mental illness and her drug addiction. No word on sentencing possibilities.

Jail for driver who decapitated friend:
Reason to Blow Up The World: How drunk to you have to be to notice your best friend was decapitated ten miles ago but yet can still keep a vehicle safely on the road? To make it worse he went inside and fell asleep without even checking to see if his headless buddy was ok. Since this guy was driving drunk he killed his friend and deserves more than just 5 years.

Teacher Slashes Wrists in Class:
Reason to Blow Up the World: Not only the fact that someone who is supposed to be entrusted with the safety and welfare of our children abused that trust by molesting the students she was employed to teach but that fact that she slit her wrist with a piece of broken glass in front of 21 students. I hope she tried to go down the road and not across the street.
