Today's Kitty of Doom comes to us from Reader Dan in North Carolina and his kitty Bo. When Dan sent me the picture he said that Bo had recently undergone surgery. Bo seems to be doing fine now and judging by the picture is plotting Dan's demise.

It's another sad day here at the KoD. Not too long ago I posted Judi's kitty Taffy who passed away not too long after she sent me the picture of him.

This week a co-worker of Judi, who I only know as Fluffernutter, sent me a picture of her cat Oscar who recently lost a battle with diabetes and renal failure.

We here at the News of Doom extend our heartfelt condolences.

I hate to do this to everyone but today is a sombre day here for Kitties of Doom. When I first received a picture of this kitty from reader Judi she told me her cat Taffy was 15-years-old and I admired how great he looked for 15.

It wasn't too many days after that Judi sent me an e-mail letting me know that Taffy has passed away. I'm sure I speak for all my regular readers when I say that Judi, you have our deepest condolences. It's never easy to lose a pet especially one that you've had for that long.

Some religions say that animals have no soul. I disagree. I think that someone that loves you so unconditionally like that indeed has a soul.

This week's kitty comes all the way from across the pond in England. Which is kind of fitting because England is ruling the roost right now.

In El's own words...

Yes, she's sitting in a box - it's a habit of hers to climb into anything she can. Boxes, the laundry basket, the dryer and nearly gave my dad a heart attack when he picked up his rucksack and she leapt out of it yowling!

She's not bright, but does give us a lot of amusement. Her other hobby is trying to catch, skin and eat her own tail and has been known to fall off of chairs, fences and the back of the sofa while trying to do this.
